The Managing Director of Fire Protect Gambia Limited, Bubacarr Keita may not see his two daughters again.
The budding businessman, who is fondly known as Bob, is currently remanded in custody at the Mile 2 prison following the revocation of his bail by the Court of Appeal.
He is accused of raping and impregnating his ex-wife's 15-year-old sister.
Shortly after his first arrest by police, Bob was granted bail by the Bundung High Court in the sum of D100, 000 with two Gambian sureties. But the State appealed against the court’s decision and last month he was sent to Mile 2 pending the trial and determination of the charges against him.
He wrote on Facebook: "The court of appeal has revoked my bail today, heading back to custody. Prayers needed! To my daughters and mom, I love you!"
Some of Bob's friends claimed that the lawsuit accusing him of rape is untrue.
"Everything happens for a reason. May you pass this test by the will of Allah. Never lose faith in him because He is ready to help any time we call upon Him. Stay strong bro. Everything that we face in this life whether good or bad is a test. God is with you," wrote one of them.
His ex-wife, who testified against him at the Bundung High Court, is now remarried and living with her new husband. She has allegedly blocked Bob from seeing his daughters.
