APRC councillor begins installing street lights in Bundung

The councillor for Bundung Six Junction, Sulayman Jammeh (APRC) has started installing street lights in public areas in his ward.

He told What's On-Gambia: "I've now installed lights at the cemetery, police station and car park. More areas will benefit from my project."

Sulaymen is unquestionably one of the most trustworthy and respected politicians in the Kanifing Municipality. He is the only councillor in the municipality who was re-elected in the last local government elections.

According to him, the newly installed lights have led to brighter streets, feeling of enhanced safety and security among residents and motorists.

Sulayman’s community lightening project , which will be launched later this month at the Bundung Car Park, commonly known as Basse Garage, is part of a list of infrastructural works being undertaken  by him.

The Lord Mayor of the Kanifing Municipal Council, Talib Bensouda and his fellow councillors are expected to attend the launching ceremony.
