Fatou Camara, Mama Linguere Sarr, Amie Dibba and Haddy Faye were among the Gambian celebrities who turned out for Bercy 2017.

The festival, which is one of the biggest African events in Europe, attracts thousands of Youssour Ndour fans from different parts of the world every year.

And this year, a lot of Gambians were in Paris to see the Senegalese superstar perform.

In a Facebook post, famous journalist Fatou Camara wrote: “Spent all my time Saturday going around Paris shopping and moving from one hotel to another smh.. Arrived at the Bercy Concert at almost midnight when Youssou was getting off the stage.”

Also in Paris was Justice Minister Ba Tambedou’s younger brother, Oti and former political activist Babou Njie Sallah.

Other Gambian celebrities that attended the event included event organiser Pa Gorreh Njie, rapper Bai Babou and Amie Dibba’s husband, Ous Touray.
