Chlilel Sarr has set tongues wagging after she revealed “someone special” bought her a Rolex watch worth more than President Adama Barrow’s monthly salary.

The publisher of Elegance Magazine and one of The Gambia’s most posh driankes took to Facebook on Saturday to share a photo of the watch, boasting in the caption: “Keep calm is the boss lady’s birthday.”

Some of Chilel’s followers went on to comment that she deserves it.   

“You deserve it Chilel. May Allah bless you with many more in good health,” wrote famous US-based political activist, Tukulor Sey.

Former GRTS presenter, Fatou Dibba also commented: “Keep being you. And may Allah bless you with good health and long life.”

Chilel also revealed on Facebook that the “special guy” didn’t only gift her a Rolex watch, but also Vuitton glasses and designer handbags worth more than D150, 000.
