Mass Mizzle has said rumours about his sexual orientation do not bother him.  The young fashion designer said he will not prove his sexuality to anyone.

In an interview with Fatu Network on Saturday, he disclosed: “I am not bothered by what others are thinking of me. I have no problem with that.”

Despite having a girlfriend, some Gambian fashion enthusiasts seem to be convinced that Mass, who is widely believed to be one of the most promising designers in the country, is secretly gay.

“I am living my life the way I want it. People appreciate me and I have my love life going on,” he said.

The young designer disclosed he was working at Gamtel, but resigned to launch his fashion design career.

“I have a strong passion for fashion.”

Mass is the organiser ofGoudi Sanseh. Held annually at the Pencha Mi Hall, Goudi Sanseh is one of the top fashion events in The Gambia.  It not only showcases amazing designers, the event is also known for being innovative and original.
