UK-based semester is wanted by the Gambian police for sharing indecent photos of his estranged wife on Facebook.

Sheriffo Kijera, who was born in 1987, married her estranged wife, Fatou Kijera in 2018 shortly after meeting on Facebook. They had their first in-person date in 2021.

But following their honeymoon in The Gambia, Fatou decided to pull the plug on the marriage after discovering the UK-based semester was having other women on the side.

"He's a liar and a cheat. He was sleeping with other women and one of them was a married woman," she said.

According to her, Sheriffo was very angry when she ended the marriage and launched an extremely nasty campaign to hurt and publicly embarrass her.

Fatou disclosed: "She opened multiple Facebook accounts where he shared indecent photos of me. These were photos that I sent him when were married. I am an ebadu, some people were shocked when they saw some of the photos."

She added: "He threatened that he will destroy my image that no other man would think of marrying me. His family advised him to stop, but he refused."

The young woman reported the matter to the police and out of fear her former husband deactivated the accounts. But he recently opened a new one in Fatou's name where he shared six photos of her.
