Singer Nany Nanz has responded to allegations that she ‘slept her way to fame.’

The mother-of-two was asked by Gambian Talents presenter, Pa Ousman Joof about the allegations, to which she replied: “I am a Muslim.”

Nancy added in her response: “I am married and my body is only for my husband. Everyone knows that I don’t mbaran and I don’t use my body for music.

“I am a Muslim and born in a decent family. I don’t do bad things to achieve good things.”

The stunning singer, who shot to fame around 2004, has always been the subject of rumours about her love life. It is still hard to believe that she actually dated Paco Tee at one point in time in her life.

Nancy got with the Senegalese rapper at the early days of her music career. She needed Paco Tee to help her break into the Senegalese market. Their relationship fell apart shortly after they recorded a song for the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC).

The singer is now married to a semester living in Germany. She managed to keep the marriage firmly under wraps. But according to reliable information reaching What’s On-Gambia, the husband is a ‘flashy semester’ from Lamin Village in the West Coast Region.

During her interview with Gambian Talents, Nancy also rubbished rumors that she is no longer on speaking terms with Cess Ngum and Rugie.

According to her, the two singers are like her junior sisters and they still keep in touch.
