Enemies of progress: Attempted burglary at the Block Studio

The police are looking for suspects in an attempted burglary at the Block Studio in Pipeline. The owner of the studio, veteran rapper, Mo Hawk said that even though the suspects didn’t make it inside, he is still looking at making security upgrades.

Breaking the news to his Facebook fans, Mo Hawk wrote: “Burglars tried to break in to the block entertainment studio complex yesterday but thank God they couldn't get in, then when to my ML and broke the window and took the batt and car DVD! Shit got me pissed off! Tryna break us down but only God can.....”

Some of his fans didn’t waste time to express their anger:

The Block Studio was established by Mo Hawk to help young Gambians, who are aspiring to become musicians. The studio has supported artists like Jali Madi, MC Mbye and Big Faa.
