GRTS’ senior manager of television programs, Essa Jallow has become The Gambia’s newest celebrity polygamist after taking a second wife.

Essa recently tied the knot with one Khadijatou Maali Jallow, and he took to Facebook to share a photo of them smiling for the camera.

More than 400 liked the photo. 

Who is Khadijatou?

Information reaching What’s On-Gambia revealed she is a prominent member of the Gambian-Fula community. She’s the vice president of Fulbe Africa – an organisation famous for promoting the Fula culture, language and values.

It remains unclear whether Khadijatou, who currently lives in Sukuta, would move to Brikama to live under the same roof as her co-wife.
