It is one of the most famous Gambian-owned food stores in England selling both African and Caribbean food and grocery items.
Gai Njorro has now moved to a new location within Birmingham, a major city in England. The store, which is a family business, allows Gambian immigrants to find familiar foods that remind them of home.
“We have got a whole bunch of new stock and also, we are online where people can order food items and it will be delivered to their house,” said the store manager.
Gai Njorro imports fresh agricultural products from The Gambia, Senegal and other West African countries.
The store manager added: “We also have a delivery van to meet the demands of Gambians outside Birmingham. We are ever dedicated to serve our customers.”
