After 19 years in business, one of The Gambia's most famous restaurants is up for sale. 

Located along the Bertil Harding Highway in the Senegambia Strip, Gaya Art Cafe was listed for sale on the Signature Investments - Real Estate The Gambia Facebook page. 

The listing, which garnered more than 1,500 likes, claims the restaurant is the best in the country because of its great food and delicious cocktails. 

"It has a fantastic reputation, popular with locals and tourists. The owner is also willing to sell her recipes," the listing added. 

According to one of their customers, "their meals are very competently cooked and very tasty". 

The restaurant is also well-known for offering local artist the opportunity to showcase their art to the public.
