It’s going to take a little bit longer before we see the country’s First Lady perform her first solo engagement.
Sources close to her office revealed she is still undergoing training in everything from how to pronounce English words correctly to eating with fork and knife without looking like a messy toddler.
Fatoumata was a housewife before her husband’s election victory. Her lack of knowledge of etiquette and protocol was exposed during the recent Women’s Day celebration, where she was the Chief Guest of Honour.
“I don’t know her level of education, but she has a lot of learning to do before she could become a perfect First Lady,” said a source.
The source disclosed that the government’s protocol team is making huge efforts with Fatoumata to avoid any mistake that would disgrace President Barrow.
