A fisherman, who is originally from Kiang, is at the center of a controversial domestic situation involving multiple marriages and conflicting claims, according to information shared by a friend.
The man, who also reportedly does part-time work at a hotel in the Senegambia Starip, is said to have first married a Gambian woman before entering into two additional marriages with sex workers from Senegal and Nigeria.
According to the source, the fisherman met the Nigerian woman at Taranga Residence in Kololi, where he had initially been her client. It is unclear how he met the Senegalese woman.
Tensions within the relationships reportedly escalated, particularly with the Senegalese wife. A dispute between the couple led to a case being reported to the Kololi Police Station. The fisherman had allegedly sought to end the marriage, but the woman declined, reportedly acting on advice from her grandmother.
The situation intensified after the fisherman claimed he suspected infidelity. He alleged that during a late-night visit, he found another man at his wife’s residence, leading to a confrontation.
But the wife is said to have disputed his claims, maintaining that her husband had previously been aware of her interactions with other men as a source of income.
The fisherman’s marriage to the Nigerian was short-lived. She ended the relationship after discovering he already had two other wives. She made it clear that she could not accept a polygamous marriage and has since returned to her work as a sex worker.
