Gambian with courage – Dr. Modou Jobe

GAMBIAN WITH COURAGE: Born in Kerr Jarga in the North Bank Region, Dr. Modou Jobe is undoubtedly one of the most promising young Gambian doctors in the field of cardiology. Just last week, he was guest presenter at the 2014 World Congress of Cardiology held in Melbourne, Australia.

Dr. Jobe attended Gambia Senior Secondary School, and later joined the University of The Gambia’s School of Medicine and Allied Sciences where he graduated with a Medical Degree (MB ChB). He’s currently pursuing a specialization in Cardiology at the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal.

The young doctor is described as a very honest, respectful and hardworking man. He has volunteered with different organizations to help in the fight against the ever growing problem of heart diseases in The Gambia.

Thumbs up to Dr. Modou Jobe!
