Gambian with courage: Rabiatou Ceesay is a poet and spoken word artist. She has a strong passion for reading and writing and strives to use spoken word poetry to motivate and inspire people around her. 

Known for encouraging the growth of personal expression among young women, Rabiatou studied English/sociology at the University of Ghana, Legon. She worked with the University of The Gambia and Comium telecommunications company. Now, the young poet is the Communications & Sales Manager for InSIST Global. 

Rabiatou is the example of a Gambian determined to etch her name on the literary map of Africa. She is hard working in both career and family life.
