UK-based Gambian-Egyptian beauty, Yasameen found herself in the spotlight after saying YES to Tourism and Culture Minister Hamat Bah, who is widely believed to be one of President Adama Barrow's closest buddies.
Yasameen is now living in The Gambia and sources revealed she owns a small company that provides services in tourism and travel.
Who's Yasameen?
She is a mother-of-one who holds a dual Gambian and British citizenship. The light-skinned beauty got married to the Tourism and Culture Minister earlier this year.
According to her Facebook, she was born in 1990 - meaning her husband is old enough to be her father.
Yasameen attended the University of Greenwich in London. A source disclosed: "She's a very bright young woman who is well-respected among her peers."
Her friends on Facebook include the former president of Gambian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Muhammed Jagana.
When and how she met the minister
The Gambian-Egyptian entrepreneur is Minister Bah's third wife, but she is said to be the most beautiful and educated among them.
Their marriage has long been rumoured but was confirmed beyond doubt when Yasameen shared photos from the wedding on social media.
The couple met last year, while she was at the Ministry of Tourism and Culture to collect information on how to establish a tourism business in the country.
She was reportedly introduced to the minister, who helped her to set goals and objectives for her business.
Eventually, a romance developed between the two of them. Hamat Bah, who is also the leader of the National Reconciliation Party, was quick to propose and she said yes.
The wedding was a low key affair attended by family members and close friends.
It is understood that Yasameen lives in a rented property with her daughter. She doesn't want to live under the same roof with her co-wives.
