Brikama-born star, ST has become the first Gambian rapper to hold a diplomatic passport.
According to rumours reaching What's On-Gambia, the Aling Domo hitmaker was awarded a diplomatic passport by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Marina Parade in Banjul.
"I heard it was issued to him after his meeting with President Adama Barrow," said a source close to the rapper.
ST met the Gambian leader earlier this year in the State House. He was accompanied by his management team.
Barrow advised him: "You need to remain focused, responsible and committed to always breaking new grounds in your music. With the right environment, you can take your music to high levels and make it a successful enterprise for yourself and the country."
He also congratulated the award-winning rapper on the successful launch of his Saluto album in December 2018 at the Independence Stadium, which was described by many as the biggest event by a Gambian artist.
The new passport will now make international travel easier for ST.
