The first photos of Horejah Bala-Gaye and her husband, former US soldier Alagie Barrow have finally arrived, thanks to famous photographer Alhagie Manka.

The couple attended the 2019 National Journalism Awards organised by the Gambia Press Union at the Lebranda Coral Beach Hotel in Brufut.  The TRRC's deputy lead counsel was one of the guests of honour at the event.

According to a source who was also at the event, Horejah and her husband looked elated to be spending an evening out with one another.

The famous couple surprised many Gambians with their secret wedding earlier this year. They met at the TRRC and got married after a brief whirlwind romance.

The National Journalism Awards was the first event they attended together as a couple.
