Award winning British soul singer, Joss Stone is the latest British celebrity to grace the streets of The Gambia.
Joss’ visit was part of her Total World Tour, which aims to afford her the chance to explore and understand the universal language of music in every country on the planet.
During her brief stay in The Gambia, the soul singer, who was nominated for three Grammys, visited the Kachikally Crocodile Pool and other tourist attractions in the Greater Banjul Area.
But the main highlight of her visit was undoubtedly her performance at the prestigious Jaama Hall, Kairaba Beach Hotel.
The famous singer wrote on Facebook: “The Gambia you really did impress us with your beautiful smiles and beautiful presence. As I walked on to the stage I thought to myself oh no! No one will listen! But you all did, you got involved dancing and singing. It was so lovely 🙂 Thank you all for coming along. The show was intimate and full of life. You sure know how to have a good time.”
She added: “Your country is stunning, you should be proud to live in a country that is so vibrant. You made us feel at home and without a doubt, we'll be returning here one day soon.”
