Popular socialite Isa Bangura took to her Facebook page on Sunday, January 1, to spill the beans on details of her failed marriage with Ansu Manneh, alleging she was taken to marabouts.
In a lengthy post, she wrote: "This is not a post that I am looking for pity, just want to motivate whosoever going through dark moments in their lives. 2022 was a bittersweet year for me. I went through so much pain, sleepless nights, crying myself to bed, and getting sick (through vodoo)."
She continued: "I went through bitter domestic violence which I could have lost my life. I was summoned to court, and the police for the first time in my life (from people that supposed to love and protect me).
"I was down for some months, not going out, don't even want people to see me because my face was full of bruises. I have no other solution but to stay strong for my son which is the best thing that ever happened to my life.
"My enemies try so hard to defeat me but God vindicated me from them in such a way that I still can't figure out how I came out standing tall from all that they put me through in 2022.
"I am glad that I gained back my power and I am strong like never before. I feel so blessed to be alive today to tell a few of my stories and as time goes on I will definitely say more, not for anyone to feel pity on me but to motivate people who are going through hard times. Nothing is permanent be prayerful trust in God and be consistent."
One of her followers commented: "May 2023 be the year for you and all of us. May Allah swt give us all happiness, good health, success and also protect us against our enemies and all the evil people."
Another follower wrote: "God gives the hardest battle to the strongest soldier. Always remember God got you covered. 2023 is your year to recover it all."
Isha and her now ex-husband were entangled in a messy separation with some of her sympathizers blaming Ansu for the end of their marriage.
