Jalex is not returning to The Gambia any time soon after arriving in Switzerland, a source disclosed to What’s On-Gambia.

The Bakau-born afro-manding star is in Zurich on an official trip courtesy of the Gambia Music Union.

A source disclosed: “He is there to represent the music union, but I don’t know what exactly he would be doing during his stay.”

However, in a Facebook post, Jalex claimed he is in Switzerland to work on his upcoming album.

According to our source, the singer is planning to overstay his welcome. He will likely move to Norway to join his Gambian wife, who had been trying desperately to bring him over.
