After more than three years, Katz Jawara is exiting Manding Empire – a fan club she created to support Manding Morry’s musical journey.

In a statement posted on her Facebook page, Katz said she wants to scale back on her involvement in Gambian music to focus on herself.

Her announcement came as Manding Morry prepares to join his wife in Paris. The couple got married two years ago and according to information reaching What’s On-Gambia, the afro-manding star was recently granted a French residence permit.

Katz Jawara played a significant role in the Nnan Kamma hit maker’s life both on stage and off.  She was undoubtedly one of the most powerful young women in the Gambian music industry.
