This year’s Inter-Schools Athletics Championship saw Kinderdolf Bottrop Senior Secondary School go unbeaten for the second time in a row.
Held recently at the Independence Stadium, the famous school in Brikama bagged 311 points, followed by Mahaad with 271 points and Barra-Essau with 245 points.
Speaking to What’s On-Gambia, P.E teacher Fakebba Saine said: “Our athletes are hardworking and they always give their best. We started preparing for the championship late last year.”
He added: “The whole school is happy that we are the winners again. I want to thank the principal for his support.”
Kinderdolf Bottrop is one of the few schools in the country well-known for promoting sport among students.
