Sista Njie is celebrating her 10th year in the media. For this accomplishment, the famous radio presenter is organizing a show on the 21st November, 2014 at the Paradise Suites Hotel.
Sista, now married to reggae dancehall singer ENC, has made a name for herself in the local entertainment industry. She is the presenter of the famous Wahsahalat talk show on Capital FM.
The Bakoteh girl started her career in 2004 with West Coast Radio, shortly after completing junior secondary school.
“After spending nine years with West Coast, I resigned to do something different like TV. But before I could finalize my plans, I was offered a job at Capital FM as a presenter and PRO for Joluv Arts,” said Sista.
She added: “I am currently on a TV show project with GRTS called Under the Light, and co-hosting, Loud Talk Show.”
Sista Njie’s 10th year celebration is expected to be a fun-filled night with lots of surprises. There will be special performances by top Gambian artists like Gee, Manding Morry, Jali Madi and Bai Babu.
The newly-wed presenter told What’s On-Gambia: “The show will feature most of the things am into. I am expecting the hall to be packed with friends, fans, artists, presenters (all media personnel), dignitaries and the list goes on because I believe we are all in this together and so we need to support each other.”
Sista’s 10th Year in the Media show will be officially hosted by Xmyls Abdul Malik Mendy. Congrats Sista!
