Borom Bagasi: Rapper Big Faa blasts ‘biased’ Open Mic organisers

Big Faa has lashed out at Black Lynx, the organisers of the famous Open Mic Festival (OMF).

The rapper was not happy after discovering he is not on this year’s lineup.

Borom Bagasiwas hoping to make his debut appearance on the OMF stage.

Speaking to What’s On-Gambia, he ranted: “They said if you drop a hit single, a mixtape or an album you will be on the list. This year I dropped two singles that all the radios are playing and they did not put me on the list:”

Big Faa continued: “I can’t understand them. Are they fighting me or is it jealousy? Big Faa is a star and I rock every show I go to.”

And the talented rapper, who is well respected in the rap scene, said the organizers are corrupt and bias.

“They are not good. But I am bigger than Open Mic. I have been doing my thing before Open Mic.”

According to Big Faa, he is one of the few rappers in the country that has some big hits under his belt.  Daily Observer’s Sheriff Janko described him as an “an inspirational star.”
