Gambian with courage: Mamudu Wally is a Gambian-US citizen based in Bronx, New York. Originally from Basse, he is a hardworking young man, who is always out to promote the image of The Gambia. Mamuda, who recently graduated with MA/BA in Mathematics and Adolescent Education, is a Mathematics tutor at the New York City Department. He is also the president of the Apple Club –Gambia. 

Mamudu plans to return home to work as a teacher. As we all know, The Gambia is falling behind in Math and science education and it is his intention to start a project that would increase student awareness of the excitement and opportunity in Mathematics. Thumbs up for Mamudu!
