Musa Sowe, a backway returnee, was left devastated after discovering that his brother had stolen the money set aside for his wedding, leaving him unable to marry his sweetheart.

In a message to What's On-Gambia, he revealed: "There is this girl I love so much and want to marry. I was in Libya and sending money to my brother to keep for me for my wedding."

According to Musa, upon returning to The Gambia to begin the preparations and ask for the girl's hand in marriage, he found out that his brother had used the money and couldn't pay it back.

When asked how much was set aside for the wedding, Musa replied: "D300,000. I swear to God. I want you guys to share my story. Maybe I will find someone to assist me. Please, I need help."

Musa is worried that he might lose the girl if he doesn't send cola nuts to her parents soon.
