Talented US-based young rapper Mricey has just dropped his new single, Old Thang Back which is already making waves online.

“Old Thang Back is actually based on someone who I really loved but she left me because she felt like I wasn't giving her enough attention,” he told What’s On-Gambia.

Born in Senegal, Mricey entered the rap scene in 2014. He is one of the many unsigned Senegambian rappers in the USA waiting for their big break.

According to him, Old Thang Back was recorded in City Dump Record in Indianapolis. The music video for the song is expected to be out next month.

On the Gambian rap scene, Mricey said: “I think it is on the right move but it could be better if Senegal and Gambia come together and build one big industry.”

The talented young rapper is planning to visit The Gambia in April and he is hoping to meet some of the country’s major rappers. To know more about Mricey, follow him on social media:
