A male teacher at Kinderdorf Bottrop Senior Secondary School in Brikama has been sacked following allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a student of the school.

Mr Mike, an English Language teacher, was spotted leaving a guest house after allegedly having sex with one of her students (namewitheld).

He was later arrested and currently helping the Brikama Police in their investigation.

According to our source, the principal of the school, who is known to be a disciplinarian, was deeply disappointed by the teacher’s behaviour.

It is not yet clear whether Mr Mike would be allowed back in the classroom by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
