Is Sarjoe Mballow pregnant or not? This was the question on some people's lips since her pregnancy rumours emerged earlier this year.

However, President Adama Barrow’s second wife showed no hint of a baby bump as she graced the launching of the country’s new electronic ID cards last week at the State House. 

“Sarjoe doesn’t look pregnant from the photos I saw circulating on social media. I don’t think the rumour that she is expecting a baby is true,” said one of our sources.

Sarjoe was the centre of attention during the ID card launching ceremony, looking relaxed and at ease, as she arrived with her husband, co-wife Fatoumatta and some members of the First Family.

As she greeted the State House guests, including Interior Minister Ebrima Mballow, there was no visible baby bump beneath her dress.

Seldom seen and rarely heard, Sarjoe may not be as popular as her co-wife, but she is adored by many Gambians.
