Nobles is unarguably the most popular boyband in the country, but the boys were soakaway diggers before their rise to fame.
“We used to dig soakaways that were 3-4 metres deep to support our music career,” said the lead vocalists, Aya during a sit-down interview with Sally Jobe.
The trio were her guests on Saturday on her popular entertainment talk show, The Playlist on Kerr Fatou.
Aya further disclosed: “We fought very hard to reach where we are right now. We were also painting houses to make more money.”
Meanwhile, he also revealed they are no longer working with their manager, Ahmed Tijan.
According to him, Ahmed left after a small misunderstanding following their failed trip to Russia, which was supposed to be their first appearance in a European country.
