The Gambia OIC Secretariat has moved to the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre last week.
The Conference center was built purposely to host the next session of the OIC Heads of State and Government Summit that is scheduled to take place in The Gambia.
Reacting to the development, the Head of Brand and Communications, Mr Nfally Fadera said: "We are pleased to have moved to our natural home at the Center (reference to the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre) . The administrative block here is spacious enough and moving here would save us a lot of operational costs."
Mr Fadera added that the moving would boost their ability to oversee the operations and management of the Conference center itself, which is also under the care of the Secretariat.
Up until last week, OIC Gambia Secretariat was occupying office spaces at the Petroleum House in Brusubi. The magnificent landmark - the new address of the Secretariat was built as a grant by the Chinese government.
