Teachers at Mansa-Colley Bojang School think their children are missing out by not learning about other countries and lifestyles.
So, the school in Brikama has teamed up with a Dutch school in Amsterdam to launch a special pen pal scheme.
Some of the pupils on Monday received their first handwritten letters from their pen pals in De Driemaster School, in which they introduced themselves, their families and school.
In a Facebook post, the school wrote: “Our children were delighted to received letters from their friends in De Driemaster School in The Netherlands.”
They shared a few photos of the children with letters from their pen pals.
Congratulations to Mansa-Colley Bojang School and De Driemaster School!
