Professional footballer Omar Jasseh rubbishes marriage reports

Omar Jasseh a.k.a Waterman has rubbished reports suggesting that he is getting married to a Scottish girl in a lavish ceremony at the Kairaba Beach Hotel. 

One Barbara Machnon disclosed to What’s On-Gambia that the professional footballer is tying the knot in January. 

“Just been leaked that Gambian footballer Omar Jasseh is to marry a Scottish girl whom he has been dating for a while. He will also be returning to play UK football,” she wrote. 

However, Omar has since cleared up the rumours in a statement posted on Facebook. He wrote that he’s currently in California, USA nursing an injury. According to him, his priority right now is to return to form.  

In an interview with What’s On-Gambia, the former Serre Kunda East star said; “I’m not getting married. I lived in the UK for four years, but I have never been to Scotland.” 

When asked if he knows Barbara Machnon, omar responded: “I don’t know her and I can’t understand why she should disseminate such fake news.” 

Meanwhile, Barbara, who seems to know a lot about the professional footballer, has deactivated her Facebook account.
