Brikama-born rapper, ST has shared a photo of the first time he met Akon.

The Senegalese-American superstar was in the country to further promote his solar energy initiative, Akon Lighting Africa.

Posting the photo on his Facebook page, ST wrote: “I be right here till the day BET necktires me ..The grind don't stop,we will get there!”

The photo garnered more than 9k likes.

Although the rapper wouldn’t reveal what they discussed, there are rumours that he wants the Senegalese to help drive Gambian music forward on the international scene.
