President Adama Barrow is building a multi-million dalasi mansion in his home village of Mankamang Kunda, according to reliable information reaching What’s On-Gambia.
The property is located between 50-70 metres from the Trans-Gambia Highway. When completed, it would be one of the most expensive mansions in the country.
The National Assembly Member for Jimara, Hon. Alhagie H. Sowe (GDC) told What’s On-Gambia: “Yes, it’s true! The president is building a big house between Mankamang Kunda and Njum Bakary. I think his younger brother is overseeing the project.”
He further revealed: “He is also building a mosque in his village.”
The multi-million dalasi mansion is expected to feature master bedrooms for the president’s wives, guest rooms, a car garage, an office and a security suite.
Aside from building his dream home, President Barrow has been hard at work on establishing his own political party to run for re-election in 2021.
A source disclosed: “He is coming to the URR on the 18th April and the following day, he will be in Sare Bojo in Jimara for a political meeting. The president might likely announce the formation of his party.”
