Sainey MK Marenah is unarguably the king of selfie in The Gambia.

The famous journalist has posted tons of photos of himself on his Facebook account in the past three years. The majority of them were taken with friends, colleagues, family members and famous Gambians including President Adama Barrow.

Sainey is right now the Head of Communications at The Constitutional Review Commission (CRC), but that is not stopping him from clicking selfies almost every day.

“His selfie craze grips him everywhere,” said a friend.

One of his most recent selfies was with the chairman of the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC), Dr Lamin Sise.

He wrote: “Glad to meet and interact with erudite Dr Lamin Sise, Chairperson of the TRCC.  Very resourceful people man with foresight. And guess what? We are all ex-students of mighty Armitage High School.”

The photo generated more than 300 likes.

Sainey is one of the most prominent young journalists in the country. He worked with different local and international media houses before joining the CRC.

According to his Facebook intro, he is still single.
