Security guard arrested for allegedly filming women in toilets at Tropic Shopping Centre

A Comium security guard has been accused of secretly filming women in the toilets at Tropic Shopping Centre in Senegambia using his mobile phone.

One of his alleged victims, an American citizen who owns a shop at the mall, revealed she was in the toilet when she saw the guard filming her. She managed to grab his phone and alert other shop owners.

"This incident occurred in August, and we initially believed it was a mistake and that he would not repeat it. But we later discovered that he continued filming women in the toilets," she said.

The guard was arrested earlier this week and is currently being detained at the Senegambia Police Station while CID officers conduct their investigation.

"He denied the accusations during interrogation. The police are now waiting for the American woman to bring in the phone she seized from him so they can review the footage," said a source.

Following the allegations against the guard, Comium has reportedly terminated his services. However, What's On-Gambia could not independently verify this at the time of publication.
