Serigne Touba’s grandson accuses Barrow of being ungrateful

One of the grandsons of Serigne Touba has accused President Adama Barrow of being ungrateful after winning the 2016 presidential election.

Seringe Modou Kara Mbacke, an outspoken member of the Mbacke family, made the utterance during a meeting with his followers last week.

According to him, he was among the religious leader who prayed and supported the Gambian leader during his presidential campaign.

"I want Macky Sall to tell his counterpart that I am not a person that he can devalue or turn into a laughing stock," he said.

He also mentioned the death of Adama Barrow's son, who was bitten by a dog shortly after his election victory against former President Yahya Jammeh.

Seringe Modou Kara revealed: "I saved him. He was the intended target, not his son."

The controversial Mouride leader further shared that President Adama Barrow, who is warming up to seek re-election in 2021, showed absolutely no gratitude or even little acknowledgement for the help he gave him.
