“He is having a relationship with his jarbat”, said Adama Ceesay about her ex-husband. “The girl’s mother is his blood sister, the same father and mother.”

Adama said she divorced her husband, Adama Mboob, famously known as Aduboy, in September 2016 after hearing from a close friend that he was cheating on her with his niece (namewitheld).

“I confronted him but he denied it. He later confessed after I saw a nude photo of them in bed,” she told What’s On-Gambia.

Adama continued: “From what I heard the girl sometimes sleeps at his house in Brusubi. Her mum tried to break them up but to no avail. She is right now sick because of the shame they brought to the family.”

Adama and Aduboy first got married in 2010 and after two years they parted ways. The pair remarried in October 2014.

“Now, I am done with him. I hate him with all my heart. He just married me to give him paper. He was living in Switzerland, but was deported.”

An SMS conversation between Aduboy and his jarbat seems to confirm the pair are in a romantic relationship.

“I don’t know whether it is right or not to love your uncle and really don’t care cus I have fell head over hills for you. …am ready to go extreme miles for u. I don’t care what they say or do to me,” said the jarbat.
