An African-American woman has accused a Tallinding boy that she met online of aggressively stalking her by bombarding her with over 200 calls a day.
The woman disclosed to What's On-Gambia: "We were friends in a group for a while and then he messaged me and it was ok for a bit, then I started to feel as if he was asking too much. He kept asking me to call him."
He continued: "When I got tired of being asked so many questions, I asked for him to stop contacting me. He said he would never. And even if I block him, he will still find ways to contact me.
"He started as a great person and was really nice but when I set boundaries and asked him to not write me on WhatsApp, he started being crazy."
According to the American woman, the young man (name withheld) bombarded her with calls and sometimes over 200 times a day.
"I am married. He knows. I was being called over 200 times per day sometimes. He created about 8 Facebook accounts because I kept blocking him. Now he created one and has been contacting some of my family members," said the woman.
The pair met on a language-learning website and became friends on Facebook, but the Tallinding boy wanted more than friendship with her.
