He’s barely known in his native Gambia, but Swedish-Gambian Adam Tensta is one of the most popular rappers in Sweden.

Adam, whose real name is Adam Momodou Eriksson Taal, was born in 1983 to a Gambian that migrated to Sweden in the 1970s.

The rapper became a household name in Scandinavia following the release of his debut album, It’s a Tensta Thing which won him a Grammis - Swedish equivalent to Grammy Awards.

He has recently released his latest single, Svart Bebis which talks about his unborn child and the increasing level of racism in Sweden.

In celebration of his single, Adam shared a photo of his naked pregnant girlfriend on Facebook.

Although the update attracted more than 500 Likes, with some congratulating him and his girlfriend, Adam’s choice of photo shocked many of his Gambian fans who believe that such behaviour goes against the grain of Gambian values.
