All is set at Lamin Lodge to welcome tourists visiting the country. It is one of the busiest spots during the tourist season.

Our reporter was at the lodge to talk to the proprietor, Mr. Peter Loosen on the level of preparedness for the upcoming season especially with the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

According to him, all his workers are returning to work when the season starts.

“True friends of The Gambia will come to visit because there is no case of Ebola here. I think those spreading information to holiday makers should make it clear that they are free to visit as usual,” said Peter.

Lamin Lodge has a staff of 20, who are eagerly waiting for the arrival of tourists. The proprietor said if business is dull he cannot have them all at work.
