A famous PE teacher, who died on Sunday, has been remembered by both former and present students for his kindness and humour.

Mr. Pa Cole was the PE teacher at Gambia College after teaching in different schools across the country.

Tributes started to flow for him as news of his death was announced on Facebook by a former student, Baba S. Touray.

One Lamin Beyai wrote: “Considering his contributions during his life time in the world, we will cry less and pray more. May his gentle soul rest in peace!”

Mo Jallow added: “Pa Cole was a veteran who truly shaped many young men and women to be responsible and highly professional adults.”

Another former student, Sam Bruce disclosed that Mr. Cole taught him to be hardworking and steadfast. According to him, The Gambia will miss him so much.
