Police in The Gambia have reportedly placed under arrest a young man suspected to have attempted to stab Wally Seck, with a knife after the Senegalese singer’s Christmas Day performance at the Pencha Mi Hall .

Eyewitness sources said the suspect suspiciously approached the Senegalese star with a brand new knife hidden in his pocket, but one of the police officers at the concert venue was alert, subduing him without incident or injuries.

Police presence was increased during Wally’s final concert at the Galaxy Park the next day. 

The Senegalese star was in the country for Christmas concerts. All the venues were crowded with his fans. According to the organizer, Pa Goreh Mbye next year they will move it to the Independence Stadium.
