Wally Seck, his “criminal father” in January visit to Gambia

In Senegal, they are fraudsters. Even superstar musician, Youssour Ndour, recently took a swipe at them in one of his latest songs.

But in The Gambia, fans still adore them despite their constant brushes with the Senegalese law.

Wally Seck and his dad, Thione Seck, are heading to The Gambia in January for major concerts organised by the Social Security and Housing Finance Cooperation (SSHFC).

It will be his (Wally’s) first appearance in the country following media reports that he may face police investigation over money laundry.

This comes less than one year after his dad was charged with circulating forged foreign currency, money laundry and conspiracy.

The duo are performing in The Gambia on the 6th, 7th and 8th January at different locations within the Greater Banjul Area. Thousands of fans, mainly young women, are expected to attend.

Breaking the news online, Wally’s representative in the country, Fanta Sidibeh, said the Senegalese star musician and his dad are coming with new flavours.
