Tourism Minister Hamat Bah was secretly recorded while gossiping about his boss, President Adama Barrow, according to rumours reaching What's On-Gambia.
A source that contacted us claimed the rumour is true. He alleged the recording contains Hamat saying the Gambian leader stands no chance of winning the December 4 presidential election.
One Ensa Jatta also claimed: "I heard he was caught backbiting Barrow saying that, they need to do what they have to do because this government stands no chance of winning."
Meanwhile, Minister Bah, who has been very quiet lately, is facing several allegations of fraud and corruption from his own staff.
A six-member group identifying itself as concerned staff of the Gambia Tourism Board has written to the National Assembly's Select Committee on Tourism to investigate the minister and some of his directors.
Some of the allegations against them include corruption and abuse of office.
