According to Norwegian media, Babucarr, who immigrated to Norway in the 1970s in search of better opportunities, was killed with a ‘rat poison’.

Speaking to What’s On-Gambia, her niece, Zainab Barrow alleged: “She killed him because of money. She saw his account and gave her number to him. My uncle was her third husband. She killed him to get everything.”

She added: “She sent her maid to the market to buy the poison.  While my uncle was dying in the bedroom, she sat outside with my uncle’s phone and tablet.”

Dave Olsen, Babucarr’s son he fathered with a Norwegian woman claimed that his father was hurriedly buried before his arrival. No autopsy was performed to determine the cause of death.

The Norwegian authorities are currently helping the family to establish the cause of the semester’s untimely and mysterious death.
