Since leaving Masla Bi, Blingy has launched a solo career.  But who is Blingy and what is he up to? Here is everything you need to know:

Who is Blingy?

I'm known as Blingy Aka Nas Davies, former Maslaa Bi member. I was born and raised in Banjul. Been doing music in The Gambia for so long, now I reside in the UK and hope to make it big here.

When and why did you leave Masla Bi?

It has been many years since I left the Maslaa Bi and the intension was never to leave the group but everyone was doing something different that's when I took the decision to leave.

After leaving what happened next?

I decided to do my own thing and record my own music. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be but with a lot support I gathered enough courage to go solo.

Why solo?

I felt being solo was the best decision for me, as being in a group sometimes people don't always share the same passion you have for music. And I always wanted to accomplish worldwide recognition with music and I believe I can do it with a solo career even though is not easy when you come from a well-known group.

What are the latest projects?

I'm currently working on my first EP called "All On Me" from that EP I have released 3 singles already and the feedback on them has been great. You guys can expect to hear a lot of Hip Hop, Afrobeat, and commercial on this EP. After this more music will be coming out and hopefully I will be looking to drop some mbalax music for you all.
