Some of you who are turning up the heat on President Adama Barrow on social media to ban the APRC party should relax because the chances of that happening are very slim.

According to reliable information reaching What’s On-Gambia, the president would likely allow APRC to continue operating as a strategy to block Mamma Kandeh from becoming the country’s next president.

“Kandeh is their nightmare. And when they ban APRC their supporters will surely throw all their weight behind GDC and this could harm UDP a lot in the coming presidential election,” said an online political commentator.

He continued: “It is a fight for their life and they will do anything to frustrate Kandeh.”

In the last presidential election, more than 200,000 Gambians voted for former President Yahya Jammeh.
